Our spinning top series is inspired by one of the most popular toys all over the world and especially in Indonesia named Gasing. A gasing or spinning top spins rapidly on the ground, and its motion allows it to remain precisely balanced on its tip because of the rotational inertia. Traditionally, gasings are constructed from wood with an iron tip and are set in motion through a string coiled around its axis. The products in this collection are similar to the shape of a gasing and provide a unique texture, traditional yet slightly rustic ambience to the space where they are used.
