Dating as far back to 13^th century, ‘kawung’ is Batik pattern originated from the Majapahit era, a four lobed stylized flower pattern representing the cross section of the palm fruit (Kawung), as a symbol of power and prestige, heavily associated with Javanese royal and aristocracies. Adopting the values and intricate beauty of Kawung into our daily life through our homewares, we are giving a nod to our rich Indonesian timeless cultural heritage.
